Muggins Glazes

We mix our glazes manually and produce only enough for a particular firing of the kiln. The effect of this is that our glazes produce pottery items that are unique and full of character - no two are ever the same.

In this world of mass-production and dull uniformity, our products can present people with something of a problem - our glazes can vary from one firing to the next. The final result depends upon so much - the particular glaze mix, the thickness of its application, the character of the clay after biscuit firing, the length of time pieces are in the kiln, how many pork pies you've had for lunch.
